On 30 March 2025, His Eminence Metropolitan John of Dubna made a pastoral visit to the parish of Our Lady of the Protection in Compiègne, in the Oise. On Sunday 30 March, Metropolitan John presided at the Divine Liturgy together with the Rev. Fr François Graillot, rector of the parish, and ArchpriestNicolas Kisselhoff.
After the service, the Archbishop, the clergy and the faithful shared a generous agape meal prepared by the parish. Metropolitan John then visited the internment and deportation camp at Compiègne. He was received by Mr Aurélien Gnat, director of the Compiègne Memorial and Mr Joël Dupuy de Méry, deputy mayor, representing Mr Marini, Mayor of Compiègne.
