On 14 December 2025, at the St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the episcopal ordination took place of the Very Reverend Archimandrite Augustine (McBeth), elected auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese, with the title Bishop of Taldom.
With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, Metropolitan John of Dubna presided over the services together with His Eminence Archbishop Simon of Brussels and Belgium and His Grace Bishop Symeon of Domodedovo.
Many members of the family of Bishop Augustine of Taldom were present, together with a large delegation from his parish in Glasgow.
We congratulate His Grace the newly ordained and sing to him once more: AXIOS!
