Dear Friends,
It is with great sadness that we announce the repose in the Lord of our beloved Archpriest Father René Dorenlot, who fell asleep on Sunday, 23 November 2025. For many years he served the parish of the Holy Trinity on rue Daru.
His funeral will take place on Wednesday, 26 November 2025 (Liturgy at 10:30 a.m., then the funeral service at 2:30 p.m.) in the church of the parish of St Matthew of the Vicariate of St Mary of Paris and St Alexis of Ugine.
His Eminence Metropolitan John of Dubna offers his sincere condolences to his wife, his family and all his loved ones, and accompanies them in prayer. May the Lord grant Father René rest with the righteous.
