Communiqué of the Archdiocesan Council: Ordinary General Assembly, 6 and 7 November 2026 – St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral

The Ordinary General Assembly (OGA) of the Archdiocese, postponed because of the heat wave, will be held on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 November 2026 at St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, 12 rue Daru, 75008 Paris.

The OGA will begin with a moleben on Friday at 9 a.m. and will continue until lunch on Saturday at about 1:30 p.m. One must have attended the discussions in order to vote. Participants will have to register on Friday morning. Participants are invited to arrange their travel accordingly.

The participants will be the same as those summoned in June, taking into account any changes of status for the clergy. The replacement of a lay delegate by a lay alternate must be indicated at registration, in the manner described in the notices of convocation.

This advance notice is being circulated well ahead of time so that participants can organize their travel and stay in Paris. A formal notice of convocation will be sent within the statutory deadlines to the rectors and heads of communities, who are to pass it on to the representatives of their parish or community.
