As announced by the Assembly of Orthodox Bishops of France (AEOF), a day of meeting for Orthodox youth will be held on Saturday 28 February 2026, the eve of the Sunday of Orthodoxy, at the Cathedral of St Stephen, 7 rue Georges Bizet, 75016 Paris, in which young people from various Orthodox youth movements are invited to take part. A previous meeting of this kind took place in October 2023 at the Serbian Orthodox Church of St Sava in Paris.
The day will begin with the celebration of the Divine Liturgy at 9 am, followed by breakfast, then a talk by Mother Aimiliani, abbess of the Monastery of the Protection of the Mother of God at Bussy-en-Othe, on the theme “How does Christ transform our relationships with others?”, followed by discussion. After lunch, about ten group discussion workshops will be held, addressing relationships with God, with the family, at work, within the parish, with one’s spiritual father, with other Christians, and so on. There will then be a time of open conversation between the young people and the bishops present. The day will end with the celebration of the Vespers of the Sunday of Orthodoxy.
Participation is free for all.
