On the occasion of the centenary of the St Sergius Orthodox Theological Institute, an international colloquium will be held in Paris from 27 to 29 November 2025. This event will highlight the theological and spiritual renewal initiated by the Institute in the 20th century, while opening a reflection on the future prospects of Orthodox theology in the 21st century.
For three days, researchers, teachers, former students and friends of the Institute will gather to revisit the history of Saint-Serge, to recall its great figures and to reflect on the present mission of Orthodox theology in the contemporary world.
The first two days will be devoted to the history, the transmission and the outstanding figures of the Institute, while the last day will address the challenges and future directions of Orthodox theological training and research.
