The episcopal ordination of the Very Reverend Archimandrite Augustine (McBeth), elected auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese, will take place on Sunday, 14 December 2025, at the St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Following this ordination, Bishop Augustine will bear the title Bishop of Taldom.
- On Saturday, 13 December 2025 at 4:00 p.m., in the cathedral, His Eminence Metropolitan John of Dubna will preside over the Rite of Nomination, followed by the Vigil.
- On Sunday, 14 December 2025 at 9:30 a.m., His Eminence Metropolitan John of Dubna will receive the Confession of Faith of the bishop-elect and his oath of fidelity to the Archbishop and his successors. Then the Archbishop will preside over the Divine Liturgy with the ordination of the said candidate, in concelebration with the bishops present.
