On Thursday, 29 May 2025, His Eminence Metropolitan John of Dubna presided at the Divine Liturgy at St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, surrounded by the clergy, on the occasion of the feast of theAscension of the Lord.
At the beginning of the service the Archbishop tonsured as reader and ordained as subdeacon Nicolas (Niklas Robin) Freialdenhoven, and during the Liturgy he ordained him deacon.
After the service the faithful shared a coffee offered by the cathedral parish.
