On Sunday, 15 June 2025, with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan John of Dubna, Bishop Symeon of Domodedovo, auxiliary bishop, ordained Subdeacon Serge Malko to the diaconate at the Monastery of St Silouan, to serve the parish of the Resurrection of Christ in Nantes. He also tonsured the servant of God Matthieu a reader. The celebration took place under the presidency of Bishop Symeon, surrounded by Bishop Elisey, hegumen of the monastery, and the local clergy.
