On 25 January 2025, the feast of St Sava of Serbia, His Eminence Metropolitan John of Dubna presided at the Divine Liturgy at the cathedral.
During the Little Entrance, the Archbishop granted Archpriest Jivko Panev the right to wear the mitre in gratitude for his pastoral service and his work for Orthodoxy.
After the Great Entrance, Metropolitan John ordained to the priesthood Deacon Zoran (Pierre) Petrel, who will serve the parish of Our Lady the Sovereign and St Silouan in Chaville.
